Batur Extrem trail is a trail running event of approximately 45 km. away and
about 2,800 mts. positive slope. The rules of the competition will be the one
set out below
1. CONDITIONS OF PARTICIPATION IN THE
TRAIL BATUR EXTREM
Any person, man or woman, of legal age who meets and accepts each and every one of the sections of this Regulation may participate in the test.
2. CATEGORIES OF THE TRAIL BATUR EXTREM
The organization establishes the following categories of individual character:
General Male. All ages
Veteran Male. Over 50 years
General Female. All ages
Veteran Female. over 50 years
All categories will remain open, as long as there is a minimum of 4 participants in each of the corresponding categories.
3. AWARDS TROPHIES
The first three classified in each category will be awarded.
The awards will not be cumulative.
During the course of the stage, liquid and solid light refreshments will be available at the checkpoints, that is, made up of light foods such as fruit and nuts. It is important that each runner foresees energy foods for the course of each stage. At the end of the test there will be also a final refreshment station.
5. MAXIMUM TEST TIME
the maximum time to complete the Batur Extrem Trail is 12 hours. During the route there will be two race cut-off points where all participants who do not arrive in the stipulated time will have to abandon the race.
6. THE ROUTE
The organization reserves the right to modify the regulations, route layout, stage mileage, development area and destination, due to force majeure - whether meteorological, security or of any other nature - beyond its control and that may compromise both the safety of the runners and the Organization or the correct development of the event.
6. MANDATORY EQUIPMENT OF THE PARTICIPANTS
The runners must take into account the equipment to choose given the thermal characteristics of the area, as well as the consequences derived from it in terms of weight. The mandatory equipment must be shown to the race controllers or organization managers, both during the technical controls and during the test at their request.
The list of mandatory equipment can be modified by the organization depending on the weather forecast. At first this is the list of mandatory equipment
- Water drums or containers with a minimum volume of 1 liter
- Glass for refreshments
- headlamp + replacement batteries, recommended minimum 150 lumens
- GPS with trak loaded
- Survival blanket
- Supplementary feeding
7. ECOLOGY AND HUMAN ENVIRONMENT
One of the main premises of the race is respect for the natural and human environment, an
essential factor and one of the most relevant for the Organization.
Any behavior that is objectively harmful to the human or natural environment, as well as the lack of scrupulous respect for the customs of the inhabitants of the area or unsportsmanlike behavior in relation to other participants
The Bali Volcano Race reserves all the rights to use the images recorded and photographed during the race of the participants, therefore, they authorize the Organization to use their image, both individually and collectively, in everything that refers to the race . All photographic and / or video supports, made during the test, may not be used by participants or companions (except for private use), without express authorization from the organization. Therefore, any subsequent production, either photographic, video or advertising use by brands or sponsors of participants, must have the express authorization of the organization. Any request for images of the test for advertising use should only be processed through the race management.
